COWI Commercial Management Team is fully involved with the refurbishment and upgrade of one of Horsens Hospital’s main buildings derived by Midtjylland Region’s continuous need for and upgrade of current medical facilities.
The refurbishment requires a full upgrade of the building to comply with latest environmental and safety regulation. The work involves full upgrade of services (from Ventilation to VVS to Electrics and Specialist Installation) running from basement to roof level, changes to the layout, removal of contaminated materials and upgrade of architectural elements including replacement of facade.
Due to the lack of available space, the overall refurbishment will be carried out in various phases.
In order to design and manage such a complex refurbishment to the available budget, COWI’s Commercial Team of Quantity Surveyors is providing Cost Estimations at various design stage, Value & Risk Management and Procurement Strategy Assessment in addition to Tender & Contract Document preparation and Contractors Tender Assessment.
